We apply new observational technology in new instruments on space satellites and telescopes. The path from pioneering technology to answering questions with a new cutting-edge instrument in space is paved with applied sciences and engineering expertises: optics, nanotechnology and cryogenics in our Instrument Science Group and mechanics, electronics and quality assurance in our Engineering Group.
