At SRON, I have worked as an instrument scientist on the SAFARI and X-IFU projects. I am a member of the SRON workers’ council and represent SRON on the group workers’ council of NWO-I.
Education
B.Sc. in experimental physics and M.Sc. in atomic physics from University College Cork, Ireland. Ph.D. in physics from the University of Maryland for research carried out at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center: “A Broad-Band Spectral and Timing Study of the High-Mass X-Ray Binary Centaurus X-3”.
