Parking near SRON

Visitors can park a car in the Parking Ehrenfestweg, a 6 minute walk from SRON. This parking has charging stations for electric vehicles. Navigate to ‘Ehrenfestweg Leiden’ and once on this street, you see the parking to your left, in the lefthand street (red line on this map). After parking, walk the walking route (shown in green here), from the garage to SRON.

Arrange parking in advance

Consult your contact within SRON in advance, so your host can either arrange that the gate will open automatically for your license plate number, or so the reception knows that the card you draw must be validated for the way out after your visit. Please arrange this at least 24 hours in advance. Without a validated exit card, this parking costs 2 euros per hour.

SRON Groningen is housed in the Kapteynborg, located on the Zernike Campus of the University of Groningen.

The reception of SRON has exit cards for parking lots P3 and P4. Registered visitors can park at P2 with free exit.
